I agree with all your tips to help you cope with a job you do not like. I believe exercise and friends at work are the best ways to cope. Even if you are working from home, getting up and enjoying fresh air and conversation with friends is healthy and makes you feel energized.
I always believe your livelihood should be built around what you are passionate about and I agree that taking little steps every day to make that a reality is the best investment of your time.

Fantastic tips for coping with a terrible work situation in these trying times. In addition to the above, I would suggest practicing (and sticking to a) self care regimen. Eat healthily, exercise regularly, get enough sleep, make time for loved ones - all of these natural stress relief methods will help you cope better through a better work/ life balance. Best wishes to everyone in this situation. Natural Stress Relief

I totally agree with this article. A couple of months ago I got a demotion and I was really angry and frustrated. I devised an exit strategy and boy ain't I back to normal now...in just a matter of time it will come to fruition. I think I was at my wits end and the decision to let go has really helped me. I still need to work on my confidence and self esteem that has been destroyed but I believe I will get there soon enough...

Definitely get out of a job if you become miserable. Even if it means taking another job for less money. Getting up in the morning and looking foward to going to your job is worth less money. Don't let your incompetent manager fire you. You fire him by finding another job and turning in your notice. Then give him a bad performance review on the way out and see how he likes it.

Basically, if you are in a really, really bad job, you must decide: stay or leave. If you decide to stay, you must strategize to survive their. Otherwise, you must work hard to find another job, and utilize your vacation and personal days very wisely. Regards, Keith J, Author "365 Great Affirmations".
